1. ZED CERTIFICATION SCHEME

    Textiles Committee is in the process of obtaining accreditation for the ZED Assessment. It has a wide pool of officials having competence in various management system standards and are also trained as ZED Assessors. Textiles Committee being centric to Textile Industries in Quality & Overall Sector Development, the assessment activities of Textiles Committee will be most suitable for Textile/Clothing industries preferring rating under ZED Certification Scheme.

2. TEXTILES COMMITTEE's ROLE IN ZED CERTIFICATION SCHEME

      Textiles Committee will assist the ZED Certification Scheme as a "Rating Agency" for the MSMEs in the Textile Industry sector. NIC codes for Industry Sectors which have applied for the Textiles Committee as a Rating Agency are 13 (Manufacture of Textiles) & 14 (Manufacture of Wearing Apparel). Textiles Committee has competent ZED Certified Assessors to do the on-site assessment, which is the prime part of the ZED Certification Scheme. ZED Certified Assessors of Textiles Committee will do the on-site assessment of only MSMEs, which are selected in Desktop Assessment.

3. COMPLAINTS HANDLING PROCESS

    Textiles Committee is committed to provide efficient, transparent and timely services to its clients, users or stakeholders. Textiles Committee have an effective Complaints Handling Mechanism serve to hold its users, clients and stakeholders to account against the promises and commitments made.
